Fusion Founder Directs Feature Film

Irving, TX (February 23, 2004) - Fusion Productions’ founder and president Todd Sims directed the feature film, Echoes of Innocence, in 2003 and is currently heavily involved in post production for the project which is expected to premier early summer 2004.

Fusion Productions was a major investor in the project which is being produced through Sims’ new independent film company, New World Pictures. Sims formed the company with the vision of producing movies of spirit and hope. Echoes of Innocence is just that type of story and was shot in and around the Dallas area last summer with primary locations at Faith Christian School in Grapevine and Circle R Ranch in Flower Mound.

Echoes of Innocence is a romantic thriller about the importance of faith and standing by your convictions. The film stars Sara Simmonds as Sarah Jenkins and Jake McDorman as Dave. Sims directed and, along with New World’s Clayton Coblentz, is also producing the project. Fusion co-founder Gina Sims is serving as co-producer. Matt Tibbitts is associate producer.

"This project has been a great experience. It has enabled me to expand my creative horizons, take risks, and try new things. It will certainly benefit all our corporate clients by enabling us to bring fresh and exciting techniques to their productions" said Sims.

Fusion is in pre-production on two projects for the Space Shuttle Program Office and is preparing for the biggest sales year in the history of the company. Fusion’s core industrial and corporate video production and the superior customer service Fusion clients have come to expect remains the top priority for Fusion Productions.
