Fusion founder/president and independent filmmaker, Nathan Todd Sims says, “Our creative team rocks! Once again we are being recognized for all the hard work and dedication! "New Series: Fusion Productions is currently in heavy post-production on its third national TV series, Labor of Love. While a specific air date has not been set, the series will launch in early Fall on Veria, the healthy living network. The first episode was recently approved by network executives and now Fusion is hard at work completing the other five one hour shows. Labor of Love is a reality style program focused on midwives and the women they serve. Each episode chronicles two families who have chosen to have their babies either in their own homes or in a midwife’s birth center, naturally with no pain medication or medical intervention.

Telly Award: Fusion’s wild food foraging series, Hot on the Trail with Sunny Savage, was awarded a Bronze Telly in this year’s competition. This marks the 23rd Telly Award for Fusion. Fusion has produced 20 half hour episodes of Hot on the Trail and various episodes air ten times each week on Veria.

Milestone: Fusion’s children’s activity series, Fun to Grow On, aired its milestone 26th episode in June. It will continue to “live” on the network while decisions are made regarding green-lighting additional episodes for production. Fun to Grow On may be seen each Saturday at 9:30am, 11:30am, and 1:30pm eastern and Sundays at 9:30am, 11:30am, and 1:30pm eastern. Check local listings for channels or visit Veria.com.

Supplier of the Year: While Fusion’s entertainment division gains strength, its corporate production division continues to satisfy customers and achieve phenomenal recognition. Fusion was honored to be selected as a Finalist for Supplier of the Year for United Space Alliance. United Space Alliance is one of the largest and most prestigious aerospace companies in the world and operates the Space Flight Operations Contract for NASA;s Space Shuttle Program Office. Fusion has produced numerous projects for NASA and United Space Alliance over the last 13 years. United Space Alliance has literally thousands of suppliers including Boeing and Lockheed Martin.
