Fusion Produces Radio

Irving, TX (March 7, 2000) - Fusion Productions recently completed three radio commercials for the dietary supplement company, Altmed. Fusion founder Todd Sims went back to his roots for the project, "My mother got me started in radio in the mid '80's. She was the manager of an AM country station and gave me my first air time while I was still in high school." Sims continued in radio for several years and eventually became a news director for a local station in Brownwood, TX before starting Fusion Productions. "This project was great fun and it was challenging to come up with a creative concept that, hopefully, will stand out among all the other noise during a commercial break," commented Sims.

Fusion produced two 60 second spots and one 30 second spot. One of the 60's incorporated dramatic interaction between characters with a "flash forward" to a month later. The other 60 second and the 30 second were more informational in nature but utilized custom sound effects and an original music score. The spots began airing in the Chicago area in February and are slated to air in numerous cities throughout the US during 2000. Fusion is exploring the possibility of expanding its production capabilities to handle more radio production in the future.
